Make the next step feel exciting.
Brand identity and website for Next Stop English, a language academy in Utrera, built so that starting feels like an invitation, not a test, for learners of every age.
The hardest part of learning a language is starting.
For most people the barrier was never grammar; it's the first step: signing up, walking in, admitting you're a beginner again. Next Stop English teaches everyone from three-year-olds to working adults, so the brand had to reassure a nervous parent and a busy professional in the same breath.
The brief was never just a logo. It was to make that first step feel encouraging instead of intimidating, and to give a small local academy the presence to be taken seriously.
The name was already the strategy.
Next Stop handed me the whole system. I built the brand around one transit metaphor of routes, stops and momentum, so learning English reads as a journey you're already on, with a clear next stop ahead rather than a mountain to climb.
That single idea does the heavy lifting: the logotype carries a track of red-and-navy bars, the copy talks in journeys, and the campaign feels at home exactly where people commute and picture what's next.
One kit, consistent everywhere the brand shows up.
The identity is a deliberately small kit: a warm navy-and-red palette, a rounded, friendly logotype and an encouraging tone of voice, applied end to end across classroom signage, tote bags, welcome stationery and social. I kept the rules simple on purpose, so the academy's own team can hold everything together long after handover.
Where interest turns into an enrolment.
The website is the last stop of the journey. I designed it around the two things a local academy actually needs: helping a parent or an adult quickly find the right course, and making the enquiry effortless. Clear routes into every level, an inviting “want to know more?” form, and the same warm tone as everything else, so getting in touch online feels as easy as walking through the door.
One brand, one journey —
from a first glance on the street
to a name on the form.
The result is a brand and website that let a small academy present itself with real confidence: professional enough to earn a parent's trust, warm enough to feel human, and consistent from the street poster to the sign-up form. It gives Next Stop English a clear, welcoming front door for its next students, adults and children alike.
